EARLY LEARNING CENTRE (ELC) DIRECTOR (Teaching Component 0.4)

The School is seeking applications for the following position:
Early Learning Centre (ELC) Director
Full-time
Commencing January 2025
The ELC Director will lead and oversee our 0-3 Parent Child programs and our Preschool for 3- to 5-year-olds.
As a pedagogical leader, it is essential that the ELC Director has Montessori qualifications or is willing to undertake Montessori training. The ELC Director will lead and support ELC staff to provide exceptional learning environments that nurture our children and guide them to develop independence, and a love of learning aligned to the School’s strategic plan and policies.
The ELC Director will collaborate closely with the leadership team and Reception teachers to ensure coherence and connection in our early years practice.
The ELC Director will lead staff professional growth, coaching and accountability structures and practices that build staff capacity and impact positively on children’s outcomes.
The ELC Director is responsible for the continuous implementation, review and improvement of School and other regulatory policies and procedures to ensure child safety and positive wellbeing and learning outcomes.
